Aluminum-shell notebook, V2

1/8-in aluminum sheet, hinges and a lock, cut and finished entirely with hand tools

The finished notebook: brushed aluminum, brass hinges and a lock

Second, more polished take on a lockable notebook, built for my sister. 1/8-inch aluminum sheet, standard hinges and a lock that happened to match. Every cut was by hacksaw; keeping those cuts straight was the hard part, and the whole build was hand tools only.
